A Chinese animation has a character similar to Eren from Shingeki no Kyojin — Kudasai

Twitter user “@luriodt” went viral immediately after sharing a series of stills from a Chinese animation series (donghua) with a character apparently similar to Eren Jeager from Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan). The series in question is titled Da Wang Rao Ming (Spare Me, Great Lord!) and has been broadcast in distribution media in China since December 2021.

On the other hand, the character has the name of Not Ting, but he is not a main character at the moment, while the synopsis of the play writes: «This is the story of an orphan, Lu Shu. He is not just any orphan, but a metahuman experiencing the changes in himself, his country, and the world during the dawn of the magical age. Watch as Lu Shu embarks on a journey to perfect his unique skills alongside his sister, the lovable and charismatic Lu Xiaoyu. Along the way, they will encounter supernatural events, obstacles, and even the most powerful people in their country. How will Lu Shu get the best of his abilities and unseat his endless list of rivals and adversaries?». The publication does not seem to have attracted criticism towards the production, perhaps due to the fact that within the same Japanese industry more than half of the male characters have a certain resemblance to each other.
