Stage 2023 organized by the animation studio MAPPA took place on the last Sunday, May 21, to present the latest news from its productions. In that sense, the team of “Attack on Titan” (“shingeki no kyojin” in its original language) brought some of the actors who lend their voices to the characters of this famous anime. Among them, the presence of Romi Park stood out, who delighted the attendees with her live interpretation of Hange Zoë.

(Spoiler alert!) During Stage 2023, Park was invited to recreate the death scene of her beloved character Hange Zoë, who lost her life after catching herself in a fireball.
It should be remembered that in part two of the final season of “Attack on Titan”, the titans have broken free and are devastating the city. When they threaten the Scouting Legion team, Hange makes the decision to stay so the rest can escape in a small plane. When he says goodbye to Captain Levi, he says “give your heart”, which encourages Zoë to throw herself into the fight against the titans.
Despite his best efforts, he only manages to kill a few enemies and eventually dies in a ball of fire. This ending and his decision made her one of the most beloved characters in the saga.
