“Bubble”, the new Netflix anime film created with the director of “Shingeki no Kyojin” and illustrator of “Death Note”

This week “Bubble” was announced, the new Netflix anime film made by Wit Studio, which will officially hit the streaming platform on April 28, 2022 and May 13 of the same year in Japanese theaters.

The story of this production promises to immerse us in a world where mysterious bubbles ended the gravity of planet Earth.

Here, after an accident, a group of young people will end up joining our protagonists Hibiki and Uta, who will work together to solve the mystery behind the sound that only they can hear.

Thus, the film is expected to have a good reception, especially considering the comprehensive commercial alliance between Production IG studios, together with its sister anime studio Wit Studio, and BONES since 2018.

The team behind “Bubble”

Within the creative group behind “Bubble”, gigantic names stand out when it comes to the genre of anime.

For example, we have the great Tetsuro Araki, director in charge of the project and who, previously, had worked on the renowned “Shingeki no Kyojin” and “Death Note”.

And, in relation to the last mentioned title, we also have Takeshi Obata; the illustrator in charge of the design of the characters who also stands out for his work done in the manga “Platinum End” and, especially, in the classic anime starring Light Yagami and L.

Additionally, “Bubble” features Hiroyuki Sawano, the composer who will be in charge of the film’s music, with his recent work on “86: Eighty-Six” and the previously mentioned “Shingeki no Kyojin” on his resume.

And finally, Gen Urobuchi, who will be in charge of the script, standing out for his career with the anime series Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Psycho-Pass and the Fate / Zero novel.
