“Attack on Titan” (or also by its Japanese name, “Shingeki no Kyojin”), is just around the corner and there are still many people who do not catch up with the anime. But don’t worry, you still have time to do it!
Here at LOS 40 we have been concerned with doing calculations to answer one of the most asked questions in recent weeks: How long do I need to finish watching? previous chapters before the long-awaited premiere of its second part?
Retaking the series
The latest season, “Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season,” features 16 chapters in its first part and each chapter lasts approximately 24 minutes.
Now, if we skip its opening and ending of 01:30 we would save 3 minutes for each chapter. That is, it would take us 21 minutes to see each one. We will take this last amount of time into account for the calculations that follow.
How long does it take to see the first part of the last season of “Shingeki no Kyojin”?
To catch up from last season alone we will need 336 minutes of our precious time, which translates into 5 and a half hours.
A simple task to carry out taking into account the remaining 28 days -from this December 12- for the premiere of the second part.
And how long do I need to see all the episodes of “Attack on Titan” before the end?
Now, if we want to see the series from the beginning, things get a little more complicated. SNK has a total of 75 chapters throughout its 4 seasons, so it takes 1,575 minutes.
You may be wondering how much is that? Well, it’s 26 hours and a little longer. So the ideal thing would be to see 3 chapters a day and thus we would finish 3 days before the premiere of the new ones if you leave this Sunday, December 12.
Other news prior to the outcome
In the meantime, we have a preview of the season’s new promo poster, which was featured at a recent event at the MAPPA studio.
Here we can see Eren along with the other characters in the series who seem to detach from him through pieces of glass.
