WWE Superstar Kofi Kingston showed some great The attack of the Titans inspired gear for the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view! The Royal Rumble is the first big wrestling entertainment event of the year and has the distinct purpose of setting the stage for the next few months of programming, but it’s also a fun time for many of the superstars involved, as a lot of between them show new equipment that they have specially designed for the situation. Naturally, that means some elements of pop culture are represented and that’s especially the case this year as well.
The Women’s Royal Rumble match has already shown the anime world a number of fun shoutouts thanks to Sasha Banks and Queen Zelina Vega wearing anime-inspired gear, and now Kofi Kingston has had some fun with a new one. gear inspired by Attack on Titan. Not only considering a version of the emblem, but also incorporating the thunderous look that each Titan takes on when the user transforms. Check it out below:

It might have been hard to fully understand in motion, but the designer behind the gear, Jonathan Davenport, shared a much deeper look at the ways The attack of the Titans had inspired the look by noting, “Taking the attack on Titan with a non-IP specific palette. But just to make sure the reference wasn’t completely lost, we slapped an original creation, THE TITAN of GHANA on the back!” Take a closer look at the design:

Kingston has shown off all sorts of fun looks while working with the New Day over the years, but this one definitely caught fans’ attention considering that The attack of the Titans is bigger than ever right now. The series is in the midst of its fourth and final season and is gearing up to wrap up this year as it smashes its way through some of the most explosive and violent episodes to date.
