A loyal partner, SNCF Gares & Connexions saw things on a grand scale to celebrate the half-century of International Comics Festival from Angouleme. For more than six weeks, no less than 50 stations throughout France will take on the colors of the 9th Art and become formidable sounding boards for the dissemination of the reading of Japanese-style “comics”.
For several days now, visitors and travelers have been able to find the most anticipated titles of international comics in stations, with particular attention paid to manga and in particular to the work of the three mangakas invited to the Festival this year: Hajime Isayama ( Shingeki no Kyojin), Junji Ito (macabre anthology) and Ryōichi Ikegami (Crying Freeman).
In France, the manga is meeting more and more indisputable success: 1 in 4 books sold in 2021 is a comic book and 1 in 2 comic books sold is a manga. Better still, in the ranking of the 10 most purchased comics reflects this trend: no less than 7 manga monopolize the top of the ranking.
The exhibitions dedicated to manga will thus be visible in the following stations:

– Paris Gare du Nord : exhibition dedicated to Attack on Titan (Pika Éditions), at the beginning of the exhibition, in the presence of Hajime Issayama, at the end of January at the Festival.
