Attack on Titan rights holder NHK Network has confirmed that the Shingeki no Kyojin anime will see its story come to an end with Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 in 2023. After the highly anticipated Episode 87 aired this Sunday, which ending In Focus Season 4 Part 2, fan theories have come true: there wouldn’t have been enough time with a single episode to tell all of the manga’s remaining material.
Chapter 130 of the manga (the last chapter of volume #32 of the original comic, titled A Dawn for Humanity with 45 pages), narrates the grand finale of the Paradise War Arc, but its content seemed immense for a single episode. (the 87th) in the MAPPA series, which now brings us to part 3 of the season finale in 2023. You can see the promotional art for the season finale below.
Shingeki no Kyojin Season 4 (Final) will be split into three parts
Thus, after Shingeki no Kyojin – Season 4 Part 1, which from December 2020 to March 2021 offered us 16 episodes; more Shingeki no Kyojin – Season 4 Part 2, which since January has offered us 12 more episodes, we will have to add an indefinite number of more chapters to complete Shingeki no Kyojin – Season 4 Part 3, which will be the last (this time definitely) .
