The work of Wit Studio in charge of adapting the work of Hajime Isayama he has always been one with a strong media fury behind him. Since the series began in 2013, both the study and the Japanese author have each established themselves in their corresponding medium, gaining an unstoppable entourage of followers in this process. So it is not surprising that the third season of fiction out of one of the most followed and valued premieres of both 2018 and 2019. Therefore, the shock and the sound of the alarms when it was announced that the fourth and final season of Shingeki no Kyojin it would not be borne by Wit Studio. Almost a year after the brief announcement of the latest iteration of the franchise, the secrecy came to an end when it was discovered who would be in charge of what is one of the industry’s star titles: estudio MAP. The confirmation of the new animation studio was accompanied by a first promotional trailer lasting two minutes that gave a glimpse of the aesthetic and visual changes that the last season of the popular franchise will experience.

After months of leaks and rumors, the series’ own website has confirmed that the fourth and final season of Shingeki no Kyojin will premiere on December 7, 2020 in Japan. Thus the last part of Hajime Isayama’s work would occupy a space in the past 2020 fall season in addition to continuing in this season. A last season that, in addition, we have been able to enjoy week after week thanks to the work of Select Vision.

As pointed out by MAPPA, this last season that a priori it would close all the events of the original work, it would have a total of 16 episodes. The address is in charge of Hayashi Yuichiro, who recently directed the outstanding adaptation of Dorohedoro O Kakegurui. Of the libretto is responsible Hiroshi Seko, whose imprint can be seen in productions such as Banana Fish, Mob Psycho 100, Dorohedoro or the future Jujutsu Kaisen. Tomoshiro Kishi (91 Days, Dorohedoro) will move the designs Hajime Isayama’s originals, while the inimitable Hiroyuki Sawano will take care of the musical composition from the series next to Kohta Yamamoto, duo that already coincided long ago in Blue Exorcist O Kōtetsujō of Kabaneri. To these names we must add others such as those of Daisuke Niinuma (To The Abandoned Sacred Beasts) What animation director; Kazou Ogura (Zombieland Saga, feature films by Fullmetal Alchemist) enrolled in the artistic direction O Takahiro Uezono in charge of the address 3DCGI of the series, in the same way that he had previously done in productions such as Last Hero Inuyashiki O Kill la Kill.
Episodes for the fourth and final season
Waiting It has been long, and perhaps even distressing for some, but the titans have arrived loaded with new content to end their story in the fall season of 2020, at the expense of knowing if it will even be pushed back to more seasons.
