‘Shingeki no Kyojin’: why this Sunday we will not be able to see the final chapter of the anime and when will it be broadcast

The end of ‘Attack the titans‘ (‘Shingeki no Kyojin’) is practically on top. Part 2 of this final season has kept us on our toes between a good dose of action and new plot twists, but we will still have to wait a little longer for the series finale.

Every Sunday a new episode of the anime has been released, but This Sunday, March 27, the chapter that touches will finally not be broadcast and we will have to wait a little longer to see it.

New announcements from Anime Japan

The main reason for this delay is that this weekend is the Japanese Anime, one of the largest anime conventions in the country and where many studios take the opportunity to give key news about their productions. So the final chapter of the series that should air this week is delayed to the next Sunday April 3. Although like many of us we have already been anticipating, this episode may not result in the series finale.

This delay has not been random, and it is expected that many advances and bombshells will arrive during the event, especially since there will be panels dedicated to several of the biggest series of the moment such as ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba‘, ‘jujutsu kaisen‘ and ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure‘.

MAP will have a panel dedicated to the final season of ‘Shingeki no Kyojin which will feature several of the series’ voice actors, including Yuki Kaji (Eren Jaeger) and Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa Ackerman). This panel has been getting quite a bit of hype, especially in the wake of the schedule change for the final installment of the series, so An important announcement about the end of ‘Shingeki no Kyojin’ is expected to arrive over the weekend.

The last episode broadcast leaves us still far from the end of the manga and with many things to resolve in just 25 minutes. the sleeve of Hajime Isayama It has a total of 139 chapters, and according to the estimates of many fans, the anime series would adapt up to 130. This would leave us with nine pending chapters that also represent the final resolution of the plot.

So one of the most talked about theories for now is that this ending will come in an anime movie. The success of ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Train‘ and ‘Jujutsu Kaisen 0‘ (also developed by MAPPA) could have finished giving the animation studio a push to give anime a gold closure with a film.

In any case, we will have to wait a little longer to see what all this is and how ‘Shingeki no Kyojin’ ends, either in a movie, some additional chapters to be announced or in the chapter that is still pending.
