On the official Twitter account for the Japanese band SiM (Silence From Mine) An update was posted noting that the short version of the theme song “The Rumbling” has surpassed 20 million plays on music streaming services since its launch. Also, the music video with the anime’s second opening sequence Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season (Attack on Titan) has already surpassed 27 million cumulative views in less than a month.
As additional data, the closing sequence that was published simultaneously and that has the theme “Akuma no Ko” interpreted by Ai Higuchi, has surpassed 8.75 million cumulative views at the time of writing.
This second part has been broadcast since January 9 and is confirmed with a total of twelve episodes, while the platforms Crunchyroll Y Funimation are responsible for its distribution in the West, with the latter also publishing a Latin Spanish dub. The first part had a total of sixteen episodes and was released in December 2020, so the total count for the final season is twenty-eight episodes.
