Vampire In The Garden Netflix Anime Release Date And Trailer

Vampire in the Garden is another anime original from the major streaming platform, Netflix, which will be released in May.

From the studio that brought us Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga, comes an original anime set to release very soon.

Vampire trailer in the garden

Vampire in the Garden will be released this May 16, 2022, direct to Netflix worldwide. After some of the best anime originals like Odd Taxi and Sonny Boy, the hype for the originals has never been higher.

The anime was directed by Ryoutarou Makihara, of Attack on Titan and Astro Boy. This is the first anime Ryoutarou will direct after anime movies like Hal and Empire of Corpses.

The Stacked Legacy of WIT Studio

WIT Studio is a Japanese studio that has been producing anime since 2013, Attack on Titan being the first. As we all know, Attack on Titan season 1 changed the landscape of anime forever due to its amazing animation and direction.

Since Attack on Titan, Seraph of the End, Ranking of Kings, and Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song has kept the pace and momentum of the studio’s credit in the anime industry.

And their latest anime, Vampire in the Garden is their first collaboration with Netflix. It seems that with the huge market provided by Netflix, this is a great opportunity for WIT Studio to make an impact after the earlier success of Attack on Titan.

What is Vampire in the Garden about?

The story takes place in a world where vampires have taken over the world and there is a constant battle between humans and vampires.

But there is a rumor about a place called Eden, where vampires and humans are said to live happily with each other, singing and dancing and enjoying the delights of the world together.

We follow Momo, a girl who was raised by a vampire and seeks to reach Eden to live in peace and away from the unstoppable war that is unfolding.

In the trailer, we see many glimpses of dialogue between Momo and the vampire about music and its importance in their lives. The vampire wants Momo to find her own Eden, creating music together.

But as the world would have it, the two are worlds apart as several humans and vampires step in to end the paradise they’ve found in each other.

This anime reminds me of another original anime that aired last year, Eye Song by Vivy Flourite. Another anime produced by WIT Studio and talking about the conflicts between humans and other species of beings, robots being the antagonists. Another thing in common is the insistence on music as the harmony that melts the robots and buzzes together.

Vampire in the Garden seems to address the subjects of the cruelty and ugliness of war and accept the other type, like many animes have done before.

Hopefully Vampire in the Garden is one of the best anime produced by Netflix, along with Violet Evergarden and Devilman Crybaby.
