A 767 Demon Slayer for ANA | Air Journal


The airline company All Nippon Airways (ANA) unveiled the first of two planes that will be decorated on the theme of the Japanese cartoon ” Demon Slayer ».

The Japanese private company unveiled on November 17, 2021 the special livery of one of its planes inspired by “Demon Slayer”, an animated television series based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, published by Shueisha Jump Comics and which was sold to over 150 million copies in its first 23 volumes.

Deployed from the end of January 2022 on ANA domestic flights, the Boeing 767-300ER registered JA616A will feature the characters on its fuselage. In-flight services will include a limited edition headrest cover and aprons for flight attendants, as well as unique in-flight announcements by the characters; Demon Slayer themed paper cups and special paper toys for children will be distributed. A second, as yet unspecified, device will enter service later, with the campaign scheduled to end in December 2022.
