The opening song of the anime “Demon Slayer: Entertainment District” by singer Aimer has been streamed more than 90 million times.

The opening theme aired 10,060,949 times between February 14 and 20, marking the third week in a row at the top of the chart.

Aimer is the eighth artist or group to record more than 10 million streams in a single week since Oricon started posting their charts in 2018 (including artists like LiSA, BTS, NiziU, YOASOBI, Yuuri, Ado, and BE:FIRST). She is the fourth solo artist to achieve this, thanks in part to the popularity of anime and her extraordinary talent. The song has been streamed a total of 90,896,379 times from its release on December 6 to February 20.

According to ANN, the song also returned to the top of Oricon’s weekly digital singles chart after two weeks, registering 24,877 downloads last week. It is the sixth time the song has held the top spot since its release on December 6, and its 11th consecutive week as one of the top three digital singles. The song has been downloaded 354,230 times as of February 20.

The song was shipped physically on a CD single on January 12, featuring Aimer’s song image “Asa ga Kuru” (Daybreak) for the same anime as the B-side song.
