Attack on Titan: a third part to conclude

Beware of spoilers

The article here discusses advanced scenes from Attack on Titan Season 4. Some elements can therefore hinder or even spoil the pleasure of discovery for some readers. It is therefore not recommended to read the following lines for anyone wishing to watch the series.

She was a bitchef’s surprise” from MAPPA studios (chain saw man and Jujutsu Kaisen, among others): initially planned in two parts, season 4 of Attack on Titan has been talked about a lot. In question, a second part which was not going to cover all the chapters of Hajime Isayama’s manga. Enough to raise speculation around a film that would conclude the screen adaptation : after the success at the Japanese box office of Demon Slayer: The Infinity Trainit was perfectly legitimate to consider a big-screen epilogue.

After a last episode of the second part of the final season delayed broadcast on April 4, the MAPPA studio decided, to everyone’s surprise, to host a third (and final) part for this fourth season. Something to delight fans of Attack on Titan while attracting the wrath of those who were waiting for everything to be available to watch: one more season to avoid potential spoilers on social networks.

Attack on Titan: first poster

In any case, we will have to wait before the conclusion of the adventures of Eren, Mikasa, Armin and all the others: this third part is not expected before 2023. If some hope for a spring release, hard to imagine MAPPA releasing this epilogue before the summer: the studio is already working on many projects, such as season 2 of Vinland Saga (broadcast from January on Crunchyroll) and season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen. However, things are moving forward: indeed, it is the official page of the AoT anime which has shared the poster of this final chapter on the networks:

New visuals have been released! Eren, who has been transformed into a Titan, is surrounded by Mikasa, Armin, Connie, Jean, Levi and Reiner. Once friends, they stand against him.

Unfortunately there is still no official trailer for this third part of season 4 of Attack on Titan. In the meantime, those who want to (re)update on the anime can always discover it on the specialized SVOD platform Crunchyroll.
