The final season of Attack on Titan is coming to an end soon. On the occasion of the broadcast of the first part of season 4 in VF on the Mangas channel, AlloCiné takes you to the dubbing studio in the company of the voice of Reiner.
The broadcast of the second part of season 4 of Attack on Titan is coming to an end. The last episode will be online on Sunday April 3 on Wakanim and Crunchyroll.
However, this will not be the real outcome of the adventure for Eren, Mikasa, Reiner, Levi and all the protagonists of the cult anime. Indeed, to be faithful to the manga, the conclusion cannot be condensed into a single final episode.
The Mappa studio, in charge of the production of this 4th season, therefore has a huge announcement in store. Rumors about a movie are getting louder and louder, which would be logical to end this saga that has kept millions of fans in suspense.
In addition, the recent successes of Demon Slayer Le Train de l’Infini and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 have demonstrated a real enthusiasm for Japanese animation internationally, and particularly in France. Demon Slayer gathered more than 700,000 fans and Jujutsu Kaisen gathered 300,000 people in less than a week of operation.
In the meantime, aficionados can (re)discover the first part of season 4 in French version every Wednesday on the Mangas channel. On this occasion, the Voix Ouf team, Manon Maroufi and Vincent Formica, went to the Time-Line studio, in charge of dubbing Attack on Titan.
As you can see in the video above, our journalists were able to meet Emmanuel Rausenberger, comedian and French voice of Reiner. They also interviewed the artistic directors of the VF, Mélanie Anne Paillié and Grégory Laisné, who explain the recipe for good dubbing.
They don’t mince words when it comes to talking about their work. They fiercely defend an art often misunderstood and denigrated by detractors who swear only by the original version. These passionate artists have put their hearts into the service of Attack on Titan, trying to best restore the emotions that these different characters give us.
