Demon Slayer: Daki in the video game
He was one of the characters announced by SEGA and Bandai Namco to come for Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles at the end of the year. After the broadcast of a second season (completed at the beginning of February) telling the narrative arc of the Pleasure District, it is the video game adaptation that uses the iconic characters of this chapter. After the arrival of Nezuko’s demonic form as well as that of the pillar of sound Uzuiit is the turn of one of the antagonists to land on the battlefield: indeed, it is Daki, Upper Moon responsible for the disappearance of many members of the Demon Slayers,
She is the sixth Upper Moon, a squad of demons directly under Muzan Kibutsuji. She hid in the entertainment district, disguised as an oiran named Warabihime.
The penultimate character before the ultimate villain of season 2?
It was through a trailer published last night that SEGA illustrated the next arrival of Daki within the cast of fighters of Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles. A trailer that seems to report that the Upper Moon has been faithfully reproduced in the game: the animation of some of its techniques have been taken directly from the television adaptation, to the delight of the fans. It is available for €4.99 and is integrated into the character pass (€24.99). Something to serve as a teaser for the next and final arrival concerning the Pleasure District.
Indeed, another antagonist is missing from the roster: it is Gyûtaro, brother of Daki, and real sixth Upper Moon. He poses a lot of problems for Uzui and Tanjirô due to his poisoned scythes but still managed to win the favor of a certain part of the public. The release date of this one has not yet been communicated but there is no doubt that it should be available before the release of the third season of Demon Slayer : announced during the broadcast of the last episode of season 2, it still does not have a release date.
As a reminder, Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
