Demon Slayer: a resounding success
Koyoharu Gotouge by publishing his work in 2016 surely did not expect such success. 6 years later, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba, is one of the most important manga of this decade. It is in all 150 million copies that the shonen has passed since its publication. On the side of the anime, success is also at the rendezvous.
In 2020, Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba – The Movie: The Infinity Train, earned several million euros, and became the highest-grossing animated film in Japanese animation. Besides this performance, the second season of the anime is already considered one of the best of this year. Indeed, the ufotable studio has outdone itself and given us high quality animations and action choreographies that are both complex and airy. These different aspects managed to convince the production to launch for a third season.
