Demon Slayer Cosplayer Spreads Her Wings As Butterfly-Like Shinobu Kocho – GameSpot

Mariah Mallad, also known as Momokun in the cosplay community, got ready for the Demon Slayer Season 2 finale by pulling off a sensational transformation into Shinobu Kocho.

Momokun needs no introduction. In addition to being one of the most popular cosplayers on social media with a fanbase of 1.6 million followers, she also has her own studio, The Peachy Collective.

We at GameSpot have had the chance to cover his work over the past year. This includes everything from Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil, Mei from Overwatch, and Mt. Lady from My Hero Academia.

As a self-proclaimed anime lover, it was only a matter of time before she stepped into the shoes of a Demon Slayer character. And to mark the occasion, she decided to transform into none other than Shinobu Kocho.

The Insect Pillar is one of Demon Slayer’s most popular characters.

“Even if you are small, be brave. There is anger in all of us,” Momokun wrote in reference to Shinobu’s unique background, complexion, and personality. She managed to capture all of these qualities in cosplay as well.

He has everything from a butterfly-themed dress, hair clip and knee-high socks to a Demon Slayer Corps uniform, purple and black hair, and more.

She even topped it off nicely with purple contact lenses.

Momokun fans were mesmerized by his fantastic transformation. Not only did they describe it as beautiful, mesmerizing, and wonderful, but they also said she pulled it off so well, that it might just be her best cosplay yet.

No matter what she cosplays, it always turns out well. We can’t wait to see what else she has in store for the future. Chances are this is another Demon Slayer character considering how good this one is.
