‘Demon Slayer’ Fans Can Finally Buy Merchandise Without Paying Import Fees

Incroyable, back studio Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Destin/ None, god Eater, and several today announced that they will be opening the company’s online store, which sells anime products, for international shipping.

In a statement announced on the new Global Online Stores website and shared on Twitter, Ufotable said:

Our original merchandise was created from the ideas of key employees who were actually involved in the production of cartoons at ufotable. Products include special illustrations drawn by them. As with our animation, we paid special attention to the creation of our merchandise.

Ufotable is somewhat unique in designing and selling merchandise for its own product line. The studio also runs themed cafes, like the Tales of Arise cooperative cafe. The studio animating the JRPG cutscenes and worked on other games like vein code, Tales of Zestiriaand its games based on movies.

The studio’s cafe and merchandise is also the hub of the company’s founder and recent president, Hikaru Kondo. tax evasion trial, where he was found guilty (and admitted) of violating the Corporation Tax Act and the Commodity Tax Act by withholding income from Ufotable merchandise and cafes over a period of three years.

Currently, Ufotable ships to the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. Ufotable said it “wants to gradually expand shipping areas in the future and deliver to as many people as possible.”

However, the new global website will not offer the full range of items available in Japan. Unsurprisingly, the first items added to the new storefront are Demon Slayer supplies, including stationery, posters, and acrylic figures. “It’s a small step,” says Ufotable, “but we also want to keep adding more pieces to the store in the future.”
