Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 1 Spoilers
In the Season 1 finale, after a few days of stimulating and productive rehab training at Shinobu Kocho’s mansion, Tanjirou and his friends are finally ready for their next mission. Meanwhile, Muzan Kibutsuji is enraged at the incompetence and failures of the twelve lesser demonic moons. Rui’s death at Mount Natagumo made it clear that these demons were no match for the Hashiras. In his frustration, Muzan ends up slaughtering almost every member of the Twelve Lesser Demonic Moons until he meets Enmu. The frightened demon somehow manages to convince Kibutsuji that he can be a worthy servant and that he is even receiving a good dose of his blood.
With his new powers, Enmu immediately embarks on his mission. At the same time, Tanjirou, Inosuke, and Zenitsu learn about the growing cases of disappearances on the Mugen train, which have been directly linked to the presence of a powerful demon. Now, equipped with the experience gained from rehab training, the Demon Slayers board the locomotive with Nezuko, where Flame Hashira Rengoku Kyoujurou is already investigating the mysterious disappearances. However, promising members of the Demon Corps are unaware that Enmu of the Lower Twelve Demon Moons is also on the same train.
In Episode 1 of Season 2, Rengoku, who is an irreplaceable member of the Demon Corps, will prepare for the perilous Mugen Train mission with lower-ranking members of the Demon Corps. However, once there, the Flame Hashira will finally begin to truly understand the extent of the dangers lurking in the compartments of the locomotive. Unfazed by the challenges that lie ahead, Rengoku will immediately begin searching for the culprit of the kidnappings, unaware that a formidable opponent is waiting for the right moment to attack the Demon Corps.
