Recap before watching episode 3
In Episode 2 titled A Deep Sleep, we saw Flame Hashira recognize Tenjirou, but he calls him the kid from the day he met at his Master’s house. Tenjirou admits this and introduces Inosuke and Zenistu as his fellow demon hunters. Tenjirou carries the box on his back wherever he goes, and Flame Hashira wonders what’s in it. He reveals to her that his sister Nezuko is there. But Flame Hashira has no worries since the Master has recognized Tenjirou’s sister. They decide to sit down together as the Mugen train continues to roll. Inosuke continues with his bizarre deeds as he witnesses the train moving at high speed.
But Inosuke believed that the trees and the building were the ones that moved instead of the train. Zenitsu noticed that Inosuko could break the glass and stopped him. It was interesting for everyone inside the train as Inosuke keeps the train busy. On the other side, Flame Hashira speaks with Tenjiour, asking him a few questions. He learns that the three have been here since receiving orders from Kasugai Crow. They are aware of the incidents that occur inside the Mugen train. Tenjirou also reveals that he was ordered to join Flame Hashira.
Flame Hashira agreed, and Tenjirou had something to ask Flame Hashira. Tenjirou wants to know about his father and if he was a failure. The two men also talk about the past. Flame Hashira admits he doesn’t know anything about Hinokami Kagura. But it is amazing that Tenjirou’s father used the Kagura Dance during battle. Flame Hashira also talks about the story of flame breathing and how in every era there was a flame and water swordsman among the Hashira.
