Great news for fans of demon slayers. We have the first trailer for the long-awaited third season of Demon Slayer, which will tell us the story of “La Aldea del Herreo” Arc, which without spoilers, is incredible.
Season 1 of the anime introduced us to the tragedy of Tanjiro, and a few months ago in season two, we saw impressive battles against the higher moons. But let’s remember there were a couple of years between the seasons, so chances are we’re not that close to enjoying this third season.
While it arrives, we leave you some information about the third installment. We tell you what parts of the manga we will see in this season, characters that could appear and more information so that you are prepared.
Demon Slayer season 3: The Blacksmith’s Village How long do we have to wait?
I don’t know about you but the work done in the second season in terms of animation was a complete marvel, it makes those two years between seasons completely worth it. There is still nothing official about the release date, possibly until 2023 and we hope to receive more information in this period.
The images shown in the trailer let us see that Ufotable, the studio in charge of the animation of Demon Slayer, is making good progress in the production of this third installment. Both the Infinity Train movie and the first season premiered in the fall. So it is possible that we can see the third installment in the fall of this 2022, if someone can do the impossible it is Unfotable, but even so, we should not get so excited.
The Blacksmith’s Village What will this new Arc tell us?
Don’t worry, we won’t do any spoilers or anything that might spoil the season 3 animated premiere for you. We assume that the story of chapters 100 to 127 of the manga will be told. Likewise, we expect 12 chapters to be animated based on the above rank for the Red District arc.
Barring any major deviations, it should involve Tanjiro heading to the Swordsmith Village to get a new weapon. Luckily, the town houses an ancient weapon. But not everything is so simple, the story that attracts Love and Mist Hashiras, and maybe a demon or two.
On a broader note, the Entertainment District finale also gave us a hint of what path the show will take beyond Demon Slayer season 3. Tengen is off the board, but he’s still alive and well. He told Iguro that his likely replacement for Hashira should be Tanjiro. From there, the Demon Slayers are finally able to strike back at their ultimate target: Muzan Kibutsuji.
What new characters and demons will we see in Demon Slayer Season 3?
Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Nezuko are back in this Blacksmith Village arc, a bit of a no-brainer considering they’re mostly the protagonists of the story.
They are joined by two characters we’ve already glimpsed in the series: The Hashira of the Mist Muichiro Tokito and the Hashira of Love Mitsuri Kanroji. Also possibly more Hashiras will appear in future seasons, as well as members of Twelve Upper Moons/Twelve Kibuki.
Haruo Satozaki is set to direct, with Akira Matsushima on character design duties.
Blacksmith’s Village Season 3 Trailer
Although we already have a trailer, this is more of a teaser, which means that it does not include much content from the next season. In it we can see a summary of the events of the Red District, accompanied of course by small winks.
Here we leave it:
