Reminder of the events of Demon Slayer: the pleasure district
In Season 2, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke had followed the Pillar of Sound Tengen Uzui on a perilous mission. Indeed, the pillar had sent his women to investigate for him in the district of pleasures. According to him, the neighborhood was vampirized by a demonic moon. Unfortunately, his three wives no longer sent him their reports.
Worried, the pillar and our young slayers will intervene. They will not only find them, but flush out the demonic moon Gyutaro and his sister Daki. Following fierce fighting, the slayers will come to the end. If this victory marked the beginning of a hope in the fight of the slayers against Muzan, on the side of the demons it sounds the death knell for the superiority of the demons. In the last episode, Akaza is seen being summoned to Muzan’s lair, due to a demon moon passing away. This is amazing because for a century, no demonic moon has been executed by a slayer.

The plot around Demon Slayer
Japan began its modern development in the Taishō era. Tanjiro Kamado is a young teenager who lives in a village in the mountains with his mother and four siblings. To survive, the Kamado family resorts to the sale of coal which Tanjiro has been dealing with since the death of his father.
One morning Tanjiro leaves to sell his charcoal, hoping to make a recipe in order to offer a festive meal to his family. What he doesn’t know is that this is the last he will see them alive. Indeed on his return, he finds that the members of his family have all been killed. Only Nezuko, her youngest, incredibly survived this massacre. As he sets out to find a doctor who can cure her, Tanjiro finds that his sister doesn’t seem to recognize him. She even tries to kill him. Tanjiro realizes that she has become a demon, like the ones he heard about but didn’t believe. Tanjiro appeals to his sister’s conscience who ends up showing signs of humanity.
At this moment, Giyū Tomioka, a demon slayer appears and tries to eliminate Nezuko. If Tanjiro’s pleas aren’t enough, it’s Nezuko’s attitude to protect her brother that will convince him. Tomioka will recommend Tanjiro and Nezuko to his master Sakonji Urokodaki to help them. Tanjiro will have from this moment only one obsession: to eliminate all the man-eating demons and to seek a remedy to cure his sister.
