When April 2022 began, we learned that downloadable content Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles I would be on my way. At the time, it had a summer 2022 release window for the Japanese release.
Now Sega confirmed that it is a worldwide release window for them. He also noted that the first new character in Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles will be Tengen Uzui.
The announcement confirmed that Sound Hashira will be the first new character. While it didn’t involve screenshots of him in-game or a video, we do know what he’s going to look like. Art based on the 3D model of him appeared. When he releases, people will be able to use him in Versus.
We already know the other Demon Slayer characters that will be joining the cast. Daki and Gyutaro will be there. Nezuko will appear in her advanced demon form. There will also be Entertainment District versions of Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu.
Tengen and the other new additions will appear on all platforms. This includes the Nintendo Switch version of the game. The Truth News shares that the English announcement confirmed that the release window applies to all versions.
Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles game is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC. It’s coming to Nintendo Switch on June 10, 2022. Pre-orders for that version are open.
The first paid character for Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles DLC will be Tengen Uzui.
