Kimetsu no Yaiba, known in the West as Demon Slayer, already conquered the industry of manga, anime and more recently the cinema. Now, however, he will try to find his place in video games with Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles, a 3D fighting game that will debut this week. However, content creators will need to be very careful with this title if they want to stream it on their Twitch channels or other platforms.

This week, the Japanese publisher Aniplex took to its website to publicize the guidelines that players must follow if they want to live broadcast the game or upload videos related to it.

Thus, the company reported that users will have permission to upload content to the platforms. However, he made it clear that the background music must be deactivated, as it will not allow the melodies of the franchise to be played Kimetsu No Yaiba in transmissions.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles It spans multiple events in the manga, and unsurprisingly, the Mugen Train arc makes an appearance. In this way, Aniplex will also ban videos and broadcasts that are related to said segment of the story.

Content that does not comply with these guidelines will be removed. Likewise, and although it is not explicitly mentioned, it is possible that users receive sanctions in their respective channels.

Will these restrictions apply in the West?

Luckily, everything seems to indicate that Western content creators will not have to worry about the restrictions we mentioned above.

As we explained in a previous paragraph, the bans are an initiative of Aniplex, the publisher of Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles for Japan. Thus, SEGA is the company in charge of publishing the title in the rest of the world and, at the time of this writing, there is no indication that the restrictions also apply in our region.
