Demon Slayer is very successful
The manga Demon Slayer was the best-selling manga in Japan in 2019 and 2020. The plot rests on the shoulders of Kamado Tanjirō, the main character who saw his family slaughtered by a demon.
If his family was slaughtered, his own sister was turned into a zombie. Kamado Tanjirō therefore decided to save her by launching a war against demons.
Nearly 100 million copies are estimated which have thus been sold throughout the world.
So obviously, the anime version of Demon Slayer was eagerly awaited. And when it came out on several streaming platforms, it has been very successful.
26 episodes were therefore aired between April 6 and September 28, 2019. Note that in France, season 1 was released on November 1, 2021.
This Japanese comic book series created by Koyoharu Gotoge was so successful that the producers had the idea of making a feature film (Demon Slayer: The infinity train) before the release of season 2.
The result is final, the film has accumulated more than 727,000 admissions in France. Season 2 is therefore just a matter of waiting.
Know that in Japan, it has already been released. Eh yes ! The fans have could see the 2nd season on October 10. It then has a total of 18 episodes.

Patience is the key word
For the moment, French fans will have to arm themselves with patience to see the second season of Demon Slayer on Netflix. And for good reason ! The platforme streaming has not communicated a broadcast date.
So does that mean that there won’t be season 2 at all? The answer is no ! Netflix must have the rights and the time to allow a broadcast.
The streaming giant does not have the exclusive rights. It will therefore be necessary to wait for the end of the broadcast of the season, that is to say by spring 2022. This is therefore only a matter of time.
But if you are way too impatient to see your favorite series, you can always use the famous simulcast technique.
