this cool of art from Zenitsu arrives from artist HP Parker (@hpillustrations). His portrayal of the fearsome, yet mighty sleepwalking warrior character gains muscularity and added confidence as he literally glows with power. The lightning breath specialist is shown with his Nichirin sword between lightning bolts and his brightly colored haori, which he now wears over one shoulder to show off his new physique.
HP Parker is an artist from India. In addition to Zenitsu, Parker has created many works inspired by the Insect Pillar, Shinobu Kocho, as well as Nezuko Kamado. In addition to his own original characters, the artist has also painted other video game and anime icons, including Marin Kitagawa from this season’s biggest surprise hit, My Dress-Up Darling, and 2B from Nier Automata.
Fans who prefer the canonical appearance of Zenitsu will still be able to see him in action in the final season of Demon Slayer, which is currently nearing the end of the Entertainment District arc. The fearful demon hunter recently showed what he’s capable of during the latest episode, in which he coordinated his fast Lightning Breathing style with his teammates Tanjiro and Inosuke to take on the top-ranked demon Daki.
Demon Slayer was created by writer and artist Koyoharu Gotouge and debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2016. The emotional story of mankind’s struggle against demons has become one of the biggest hits to come out of Shonen Jump in the modern era and has managed to become one of the best-selling manga of all time, reaching a circulation of more than 150 million copies worldwide in about six years.
The manga came to an end in late 2020, but the continued popularity of the series helped it become Japan’s second best-selling manga in the year 2021, with 29.5 million copies sold. Crunchyroll and Funimation stream new episodes of the series as they air in Japan. The first season is also available to stream on both services, as well as on Netflix.
