Demon Slayer: this week’s episode is postponed for this exact reason

After an absence of more than two years, the animated series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is back, much to the fans’ delight. But episode 4 is unfortunately shifted. We explain why.

A bit of patience

Since the release of the first season of his animated, Demon Slayer is ubiquitous. A true phenomenon, the work of Koyoharu Gotôge has become an extremely powerful license, which reported in 2020 the equivalent of Togo’s GDP in Africa. Long teased, season 2 of the series has finally started on the Japanese channel Fuji TV, with a broadcast in France on Wakanim and Crunchyroll.

As a reminder, the first part of this second season takes up, in a serial way, the film Demon Slayer: Infinity Train, released in theaters in France on May 19, 2021, and which became the biggest hit at the Japanese box office, surpassing the indecisive Spirited away, one of the greatest masterpieces of the master of Japanese animation, Hayao Miyazaki.

While season 2 kicked off on October 10, 2020, we learn that episode 4, supposed to air on October 31, will not be on the scheduled date. The cause ? Japanese legislative elections, which will be held on the last day of October. We will therefore have to wait the following week, and more precisely November 7, to find out.

Remember that in this first part of the season, nous retrouvons donc Tanjirô Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma et Inosuke Hashibira, devant épauler Kyôjurô Rengoku, the Pillar of Flame, while Tamiu Enmu, one of the Twelve Demonic Moons, close to Muzan Kibutsuji, takes possession of a train. As for the second part, it will be dedicated to the arc The Pleasure District.
