Dragon Ball Z Kakarot: A confirmed DLC on Bardock (+ 2 other DLCs!)

Unsurprisingly, Bandai Namco confirms in the V-Jump the release of the Bardock DLCthe father of Son Goku, in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. This was expected, considering that the game’s promise was to cover the entire story of the Dragon Ball Z TV series, which includes the Trunks Story TV Special Episodes 1 and 2, and Bardock’s Story.

The Trunks Story DLC in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, covering TV Episode Special #2 was released in June 2021, so it was only fitting that TV Episode Special #1 would follow. It is the V-Jump magazine which announces this next DLC, as relayed Ryokutya on his blog.

A Season Pass with three new DLCs

It will be the Dragon Ball Z Kakarot 4th DLCand so it will bring a whole new additional storyline whose main character will be Bardock, from the special episode “Bardock, Son Goku’s Father” (Japanese original title: “Dragon Ball Z: A Final Solitary Battle: Z-Warrior Son Goku’s Father Who Defied Frieza”).

According to Ryokutya, a 5th and 6th DLC will also be announced soon. There would be a Season Pass, in the form of a pack which will therefore include these famous DLCs 4, 5, and 6). Ryokutya adds that Seripa and Bardock’s other four companions will also appear (but possibly non-playable).

The trailer expected at the Tokyo Game Show

This new Bardock DLC in DBZ Kakarot will certainly be presented this weekend by Bandai Namco. Indeed, a DBZ Kakarot & Dragon Ball The Breakers panel will be present at TGS 2022, and we suspected that the publisher was preparing a little surprise for us.
