Good Smile Company is a Japanese manufacturer of pop culture figurines ranging from anime to video games. “figma” means that the figurines are as true to the characters as possible, which are depicted as incorporating both beauty and articulation.
good smile will release two statue-like figures of Metroid Dreadone of which is Samus Aran herself, in the Dread skin, and the other figure is the infamous EMMI robot who relentlessly pursues Samus in the game.
Good Smile linked a page on their website showing where fans can find the figurines, as well as hosting an event for their other collectibles, which include those from Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, and games like Death Stranding, Little Nightmares, Elden Ring, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
Assuming Metroid figurines sell well, players could look forward to more Metroid collectibles in the future, especially with Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon.
