Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Maki Cosplay Highlights TechRadar

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 became one of the greatest anime films of all time, with the prequel film telling the story of newcomer Yuta Okkotsu, a cursed energy carrier who joined Jujutsu Tech before Yuji Itadori did the same . While a new protagonist was given to the Shonen movie, the prequel saw many characters who made their appearance in Jujutsu Kaisen first season of his anime, as a fan attempts to recreate the look of Maki Zenin, one of the most powerful wielders of cursed energy who currently attends Jujutsu Tech and battles countless supernatural threats.

Maki is currently further up the chain within Jujutsu Tech against Yuji, Nobara, and Megumi, having been able to hone her supernatural abilities into a powerhouse. During the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen, we got to see Maki show off her skills at the “Kyoto Goodwill Event” which saw two different supernatural high schools face off in a friendly competition, which took place as badly as possible. With her also showing off her skills in the previous film, fans should certainly not be surprised that Maki is set to take on a bigger role in the second season of the anime adaptation, currently being produced by Studio MAPPA of Attack on Titan and Chainsaw Man Fame.

Instagram cosplayer Lily Shibe shared this brand new take on Maki, a Jujutsu Tech student who isn’t afraid to do as much on the battlefield as she does in the classroom, with the character set to have more presence in the anime series which is expected to return next year, 2023, via season two:

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 could not exceed Demon Slayer: Mugen Train in the box office department, the latter becoming the highest-grossing animated film of all time, but that didn’t stop it from not only being successful in Japan, but also in North America, as well as the previous film was able to reach the top five for its weekend release. Both Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen are the “new kids on the block” when it comes to Weekly Shonen Jump, but wasted little time becoming two of the biggest Shonen series.
