Kimetsu no Yaiba celebrates Kyojuro Rengoku’s birthday with this illustration from Ufotable

According to the character sheets of Kimetsu no Yaiba, Kyojuro Rengoku was born on May 10 and for this reason the official site of the series and the animation studios Ufotable shared a new illustration of the character that sends him to his family on his birthday.

Kyojuro Rengoku made his star appearance as the protagonist Pilar of the film Demon Slayer: Infinity Train and later its readaptation in the series through the “Infinite Train Arc”. He is also the protagonist in one of the two stories that contains the Gaiden from Kimetsu no Yaiba written by Ryūji Hirano.

Although he had a premature life within the main story, Rengoku became one of the most endearing characters in the series due to his affiliation as one of the nine pillarsoccupying the position of the Pillar of Flames.

Kimetsu no Yaiba started as a manga written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge in the pages of the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from Shueisha between February 2016 and May 2020. The main story of demon slayer It was completed with a total of 205 chapters published in 23 compilation volumes.

On the other hand, the anime adaptation of Kimetsu no Yaiba is produced by Ufotable studios and so far has a total of 44 animated episodes. All of them can be found on the Crunchyroll platform and now we just have to wait to find out the day that “the arc of the village of the blacksmiths” arrives on our screens with the animated series season 3.
