Kimetsu No Yaiba Season 3 Is Officially In The Works

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba ends season two today, and fans across the United States will soon see its epic conclusion. For those in Japan, they just got into the final, and it ended with some information. It proves Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is considering a new season these days rather than a movie. A trailer has confirmed that the TV anime is working on its next arc, which means Swordsmith Village is about to make its big debut!

For those who haven’t followed demon slayer, the anime has just completed its second season in Japan. It may take a little longer for the release to go live in the US, but all of the episode’s juiciest details are live now. It didn’t take long before demon slayer fans informed that his plans for the TV series are expanding into a new season, which means the Swordsmith Village arc is on the horizon.

If you’re caught up in the manga, you’ll know a lot about this upcoming arc. The tale marks demon slayeris the ninth arc overall and checks on Tanjiro as he heads towards fixing his sword. He arrives at Swordsmith Village to find that his usual contact has now disappeared, and Tanjiro’s ensuing investigation introduces him to two new hashira.

The first is Mitsuki Kanroji, the hashira of love. She is joined by Genya Shinazugawa and Tanjiro is sent in search of a weapon worthy of his skill in the village. But of course the fighters are watched all the time. The Upper Moons have their eye on Tanjiro these days, so the whole village is put in danger as the story goes.

As the second season drew to a close, fans of demon slayer knew that the anime would tackle the Swordsmith Village arc as soon as possible, but the question remained as to how. When the show wrapped up the first season, it transitioned to the big screen, first adapting the Mugen Train arc as a movie. This decision was a huge success because Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train is the highest-grossing film in Japan to date. It makes sense for the anime to continue its TV movie flip-flop, but that’s not what season three will do. The show is going to double this time around, so the only thing we need to know is when this new season will go live.
