Kimetsu No Yaiba shows new art of Nezuko in her monstrous form


Nezuko had never looked like this.

Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) has set a very high bar to overcome with the second season for both the original and Spanish dubbed versions, and the series is Gears Up For Japan Release With Fierce New Art By Nezuko Kamado shared by the official Ufotable accountthe animation studio in charge of the series.

But why prepare the third season with Nezuko Kamado? Well, because of the importance it had in the second, where the series brought to life the Red District arc from Koyoharu Gotouge’s original manga series, and fans saw how the fight against the first royal demon of higher rank challenged Tanjiro Kamado and the others more than ever. This was especially true for Nezuko, who ended up being pushed so far that she tapped into a whole new level of demonic powerobtaining a new physical form never seen before.

The Red Light District arc brought out a whole new side of Nezuko as her body evolved into a much stronger version of her demonic power. She though she came with a sudden boost of strength and speed that allowed her to fight on par. with Daki and recover from his injuries at a much faster rateit also meant the loss of his conscious mind and the control he had been able to maintain.

Now, the image they shared was to prepare for the next season, but it also corresponds to the next cover for the Blu-ray release in Japan. The Red Light District arc officially introduced Tanjiro (and fans) to the first members of the higher moons that we’ll see later. Fortunately, with the final episode of the second season, it was quickly confirmed that Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) would return for a third season. A release window for the new season has not yet been set, but it has been announced that new episodes will pick up with the manga series’ next big arc, The Village of the Swordsmiths.

The third season of the series will feature more demonic threats from the upper demon moons, as well as bringing more Hashira into the fold to take the action to a new realm of intensity. Thankfully, now that a third season has been confirmed, it means there’s more time to catch up on the episodes so far.
