SEGA CORPORATION (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, COO President: Yukio Sugino, hereafter SEGA) – SEGA announced today that Netflix’s Sonic the Hedgehog animated series, sonic primeco-produced with WildBrain, will make its world debut on December 15.
The 24-episode animated adventure from the first season for kids, families, and longtime fans builds on the brand’s cornerstones and introduces the “blue blur” of video game fame in a high-octane adventure in which The fate of a strange new multiverse rests in their gloved hands.
The series will be animated at WildBrain’s studio in Vancouver, SEGA and WildBrain will be jointly involved in production, distribution and licensing. Man of Action Entertainment, creators of Ben 10 and the characters and team behind the Oscar-winning film Big Hero 6, have been hired as showrunners and executive producers for the series.

Sonic Frontiers, the first open area action-adventure platformer from the “Blue Blur” released worldwide on November 8, 2022, has sold more than 2.5 million copies*(1) worldwide .
