Most One Piece fans were introduced to Uta through the latest film in the franchise, One Piece Film: Red, which opened in Japan in August and in most Western markets in the first week of November. The film sees the Straw Hat Pirates travel to Music Island, where they meet Uta, who turns out to have a great bond with the franchise’s protagonist, She is a childhood friend of Luffy and is also the daughter of Red-Haired Pirate Emperor Shanks.this giving a great background to these two characters.
