When is Sword Art Online Progressive: Scherzo of Deep Night released?

Sword Art Online Progressive: Scherzo of Deep Night, a direct sequel to Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night released a year earlier, releases the December 3 and 4, 2022. To be clearer, the Progressive version delivers the vision of Asuna, heroine of the saga, within the deadly game. The original narration, on the other hand, gave almost only Kirito’s point of view.

Shortly after the release of SAO Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night, Scherzo of Deep Night was announced. A large part of the staff has therefore been retained. Thus, we find the original author of the books Reki Kawahara to the scenario. The latter is helped by Yukito Kizawa who is in charge of adapting it to the film format. For the realization, Ayako Kono takes control of this project. These will be supervised by the teams of the studio A-1 Pictures who have been bringing the stories of Kirito and his friends to life for 10 years. As for the soundtrack, it is signed Yuki Kajiura. Flagship composer of recent years, she had already worked on the license. Previously, she had worked on works such as Fate/Zero and Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
