Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival will be released in October – Switch-Actu

Announced at the last Nintendo Direct for a release scheduled for “This year“, Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival finally reveals its release date via a trailer shared by its publisher bandai namco. The rhythm game will therefore be available on October 14, 2022 on the hybrid console. We also now have details on the exact number of songs that will be contained in the title: you can beat the drum on 76 piecesamong which Megalovania (Undertale), gurenge (first opening of Demon Slayer), Racing Into the Night, Feel Specialor an orchestral version of the main theme of The Legend of Zelda.

All these songs will be available in the classic arcade mode, but also in an adventure mode which will offer you “become a drum master alongside DON-Chan and Kumo-Kyun” (remember that the license has already tried RPG adventure games). And for all those who would like to play together, Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival will also offer online battles and games with friends in a “party mode” collaborative. You will be able to win in these different modes “DONATE coins“, which will allow you to unlock various cosmetics. Finally, this new title will be the first in the franchise to introduce the Taiko Music Passa subscription offering you more than 500 songs, with monthly updates: enough to ensure that the party never stops.

For fans, the press release also tells us that “players with Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun save data will receive 3 bonus songs and customization items“.
