Twitter has become one of the platforms most used by Internet users in recent years for various reasons such as the ease of creating communities, the real-time posting and because through the site you can locate the most talked about topics of the moment, so it is also a gauge of how much impact certain titles of series and movies have.
With over 300 million users, more than 65 million tweets are generated per day and 800,000 search requests are made, so appearing in the trends box on Twitter guarantees notoriety -for better or worse- and, in the case of entertainment, that more people show interest in reproducing a certain production.
Although in the new digital age it could be easy to get lost among so many new developments, Twitter trends -which will always be characterized by the use of celebrities hashtags— can be a guide to which titles are trending and must-see.

This algorithm identifies the topics that are popular at any given time, rather than topics that have been popular for a while or daily, to help you discover the latest topics of discussion that are emerging on the web.
The trending topics have also become an amplifier of citizen complaints in the world, as have the movements #MeToo or #BlackLivesMatter.

In 2021 there were several productions that were the most tweeted about in the world, but it was surprising that the reality show Big Brother Brazil was the most talked about.
In the second place was the anime jujutsu kaizenfollowed by the k-drama, Squid Gamewhich changed the perception that many had about South Korean series, becoming in turn the most watched series on Netflix.
In fourth place was Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba; while in the fifth was the Disney + series, Wandavision. On the sixth step again a Brazilian production, this time To Farm 13.
In seventh place was the anime tokyo avengers and to complete the top 10 they followed In The Soop, Sen Call KapMI and Pui Pui Molcar.
Secondly, in the list of movies most commented in 2021 were: Black Panther, Godzilla vs. Kong, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, The Suicide Squad, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Black Widow, Dune, Mortal Kombat, and Shrek.
