In great news for the entire Demon Slayer gaming community, this year’s 19th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine recently revealed that the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles (Kimetsu no Yaiba) video game : Hinokami Keppūtan) from Sega will have a DLC pack releasing this summer featuring the following characters:
Uzui Tengen, Kamado Tanjirō (Entertainment District Arc), Kamado Nezuko (Awakened Form), Agatsuma Zenizu (Entertainment District Arc), Hashibira Inosuke (Entertainment District Arc), Daki, and Gyūtarō. However, the company did not specify what the exact date will be or what the price will be. Until now Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppūtan) had three free updates.
The first update was released on November 4 and added Rui and Akaza as playable characters, two of the demon moons under the command of Muzan Kibutsuji. The second update added Yahaba and Susamaru on November 24, two secondary demons that we met alongside Lady Tamayo and Yushiro.
Lastly, the third free update added Yushiro, Tamayo and Enmu as playable DLC characters on December 16, two allies of Tanjiro Kamado and one of the main demons from Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer – Mugen Train. The game has more than 1 million copies in circulation worldwide, making it one of the most popular SEGA games in recent years.

In Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppūtan) you can become a demon hunter as Tanjiro Kamado, to fight against the demons that threaten mankind in order to convert his sister Nezuko, that she has become a demon, a human, as well as to avenge the death of her family by hunting down the demon that killed them.
The title features a story mode that allows fans to relive the story of the first season. A battle mode allows players to play as different characters. Playable characters include: Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Giyu Tomioka, Sakonji Urokodaki, Sabito, Makomo, Shinobu Kochō, Kyōjurō Rengoku, Tanjiro Kamado (using Hinokami Kagura), and Murata. Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Giyu Tomioka, as they appear in the Demon Slayer Academy shorts, also joined the game as playable characters.
