ANIME fans have been patiently awaiting a new season of the Japanese manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

On December 5, 2021, the show finally returned, but now many want to know where they can see it to stay on top of Tanjiro Kamado’s adventures.

Where can I watch Demon Slayer season 2?

The second season of the hit animated series can be viewed in a number of ways.

Fans across the US can watch it through Crunchroll and Funimation, the only problem is that these sites broadcast it in Japanese but have English subtitles.

Season 1, which debuted in 2019, is available to stream on Netflix, however, at this time, it is unclear whether the platform will resume the season as well.

How many episodes are there in this season?

Fans enjoyed 26 episodes in the show’s first season, but it’s unclear how many will be in this one yet.

It has been reported that the number of episodes could range from 11 to 18, but an exact number has yet to be released.

The new season premiered with an hour-long episode on December 5, which picked up where the film left off and introduced a new demon for Tanjiro to fight.

What happened during the first season of Demon Slayer?

The first season of the animated series focused on Tanjiro’s tragic story and showed viewers how he came to be a demon slayer.

His story begins after he returns home to find his family slaughtered and his sister Nezuko, who was the only survivor, turns into a demon.

Tanjiro then set out to find the demon who took his family away in an attempt to avenge their deaths and find a cure that could bring his sister back.

Following the release of the first season, fans next saw Tanjiro’s journey to the big screen in the movie Demon Slayer which premiered in April 2021.

Ahead of the start of season two, they also got to watch seven episodes of the Demon Slayer Mugen Train arc to prepare for what many believe is Demon Slayer’s greatest season yet.
