Dragon Ball Super at Jump Festa 2023? It’s not on the program.

Since the release of the film Dragon Ball Super SUPER HERO, Toyotaro’s Dragon Ball Super manga has been keeping a low profile since the end of the Granola arc. For 4 months now, fans have been waiting for the return of the manga, while they have already been waiting for the return of the DBS anime for almost 5 years. But the wait is soon coming to an end, since rumors speak of a probable return of the Dragon Ball Super TV series in 2023, with even a web-series in the pipes.

On the other hand, on the manga side: it is now 100% confirmed that Dragon Ball Super manga will be back on December 20, 2022. Toyotaro had given fans away for a few weeks to prepare for his next arc, and all eyes are now on him, who has been keeping Goku out of sight these days. And since the end of the last dragon ball super chapter 87fans are wondering when we will see the first big details of the new plot, and especially the return of the DBS anime whose announcement should be imminent.

No Dragon Ball Super on the program.

According to the program, no big panel in sight for DBS. But the fans nevertheless hope that Toyotaro will use the event to reveal the official colors of Black Frieza. Indeed, during the Jump Festa 2022, the author of Dragon Ball Super had unveiled for the first time the official colors of Vegeta Ultra Ego. During Jump Festa 2021, the artist also produced a welcome drawing, distributed to visitors. Now, fans think the artist could repeat history with a black frieza color illustration.

The (self-proclaimed) Emperor of the Universe received a new form just before Dragon Ball Super went on hiatus. Frieza ended the Granola saga by appearing on Planet Cereal, and knocking out everyone in one hit: Gas, Goku Ultra Instinct, and Vegeta Ultra Ego. He pulled off this feat by revealing his black transformation, but the exact official color scheme for his form is still unknown.

For the moment, we do not know when Black Frieza could reappear in Dragon Ball, but one thing is certain: he is currently in pursuit of someone whose identity we do not know. Do you think we’ll get an official preview of Black Frieza in the next few days? Do you think he will join the “Super Hero” arc?
