Haruichi Furudate is now celebrating the 10th anniversary of Haikyufirst launch in Shueisha’s pages Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and so the series will be released with a slate of new projects that includes a special one-shot manga! It’s been a while since the manga ended, and fans got to see what each of the characters did in their final years after high school. But as with any great ending, fans were immediately curious as to how each of their favorite fan’s happy lives continued after.
It looks like we might get that opportunity soon enough as the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump officially kicked off the 10th anniversary celebration by announcing that Haikyu!! will return for a brand new one-shot that will show what each of the characters’ lives look like in 2022. There is no release date given yet for the new version, but what we got is an update for another project that features an updated look for Toru Oikawa. You can check it below:

In addition to the new one-shot manga release, Haikyu!! will celebrate the 10th anniversary with a special commemorative art book, an exhibition for the ongoing series in Japan, a collaboration with the current V League, new art from Furudate himself, and much more. But with this new one-shot, fans are definitely curious to see what life has been like for Shoto Hinata and Tobio Kageyama since the end of the official series which promises a pretty huge future for the two of them as they take their rivalry to the whole world. new level.
If you wanted to check out Haikyu!! for yourself, the run of the original manga is now over and all four seasons of the anime are now streaming on Crunchyroll. They officially describe the series as such, “Based on the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series by Haruichi Furudate, Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime revolving around Shoyo Hinata’s love for volleyball. Inspired by a short pro volleyball player, Hinata starts a volleyball team in her senior year of middle school. Unfortunately, the team faces “King of the Court” team Tobio Kageyama in their first tournament and inevitably loses. After the crushing defeat, Hinata swears to surpass Kageyama After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined him.
