The new trailer offers an introduction to High cardthe fantasy world. The series focuses on a special deck of magical playing cards, each granting its owner supernatural abilities. The five main characters of the series are members of a secret society known as “High Card”, which is dedicated to collecting the 52 cards and making the game. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2023 .

The story of the new series was written by Kawamoto and Hikaru Mino, who wrote the novelization of kakegurui. The anime is produced in collaboration between TMS Entertainment (Lupine the Third, Tiny Toon Adventures) and Studio Hibari, the parent company of the Lerche animation house (Assassination Classroom, Class of the Elite). The series will feature the voice talents of Gen Sato (Dr Stone, Pretty Boy Detective Club), Toshiki Masuda (Haikyuu!!, my hero academia), Shun Horie (Rent a girlfriend), Haruka Shiraishi (This time I got reincarnated as a Slime,) and Yuichiro Umehara (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans).
