Fans have been desperately waiting for that climactic battle in Record of Ragnarok which is humanity’s hope to settle accounts with the gods. Ironically, the Valkyries chose someone even humanity despises with every fiber of their being.
The battle ahead pits none other than Jack the Ripper and Hercules. One is the most notorious serial killer in history, and the other is the champion of the people who received godhood.
A battle like this is sure to put the human side in a serious dilemma and is reflected in the latest trailer for the Record of Ragnarok anime for season 2.

Apart from Jack and Hercules, the trailer also gives us a glimpse of previous battles and those planned for later. Upcoming matches this season will include Shiva vs. Raiden and Zerofuku vs. Buddha.
Looking at the trailer, I can tell that this anime is on its way to becoming a cult classic. All the credit for its immense popularity goes to its extraordinary story, fantastic animation, and excellent voice acting.
This franchise spares no effort to pick the best of the bunch for the anime, and this time they’ve outdone themselves. The cast of these new characters includes some of the most brilliant actors of all time:

So it’s safe to say that the season will visually and audibly raise the bar for anime next year.

Record of Ragnarok (Shuumatsu no Valkyrie) is a seinen manga written by FUKUI Takumi. It has been serialized in Monthly Comic Zenon magazine since 2017.
The gods decide to let humanity live or perish. The divine beings conclude that Humanity must be destroyed. Either way, things change when a lone Valkyrie recommends letting divine beings and humanity fight one last stand.
By this implies, Humanity can justify itself and continue to live. As stated by the strategy, 13 gods will fight against 13 human victors in one-on-one combat to choose whether humanity lives or bites the dust.
