The animated movie The First Slam Dunkadapted from the manga Slam Dunk by Takehiko Inoue revealed its first trailer. In addition to the trailer we know that the film comes out on December 3, 2022 in Japan.

The manga was published in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine between October 1, 1990 and June 17, 1996. It was later compiled into 31 volumes between February 1991 and October 1996. The French version is edited in full by Kana.
In 2004, Inoue wrote an epilogue named Slam Dunk: 10 Days After. He is also the author of the manga Vagabond.
