Set in Tokyo, AnimeJapan is a major annual exhibition dedicated to the industry ofjapanese anime. The event brings together the biggest companies in the industry, from animation producers to toy manufacturers and manga publishers. This is a major event for Japanese animation fans, offering them an overview of current productions, but also of possible future projects. This is often the opportunity to have news of some of the most anticipated series for the weeks or months that follow. This year, the event is scheduled to take place from March 25 to 28.
Last year, AnimeJapan had turned out to be rather disappointing, offering very few exclusive announcements. Still, that hasn’t stopped 2022 from being a particularly auspicious year for the Japanese animation industry. So, will 2023 be an interesting year for AnimeJapan ? Can we expect real announcements?
