The anime has just adapted the saddest scene from the Boku no Hero manga

All eyes are on the sixth season of boku no herothe anime who made his big return to the screen with last year’s fall anime season, has shown us how our heroes fared when the war broke out.

For despite a solid lead, the heroes saw their raid against shigaraki, and his narrow victory was won at great cost. This week, we learned how great the cost was, and it all culminated in the anime which adapted the saddest scene in the manga to date.

If you’ve watched the most recent episode of My Hero Academia, you’ll know it ends with a groan. The mid-season premiere begins with a sizable recap, but by the time it gets to the aftermath of the raid, things go from bad to worse. We not only see how Ochaco witnesses the mass death firsthand, but his classmates are left behind to find the bodies of some beloved professionals.

The first body found belongs to midnightand the death of the teacher is hard to swallow. Mine Y kirishima they are incredibly distraught as they cry with Momo by their side. The acting in this scene is hard to watch given how raw it feels, and Midnight’s death is just the beginning.

Since it didn’t take long before the rest of the students found the body of majesticand the joint classes lament.

Of course, these deaths were telegraphed by the manga years ago, but the anime brought them to life in the most disturbing way. And to make matters worse, Shigaraki escaped the raid with his generals, and they seem intent on freeing All For One. With Izuku down, there’s no one standing in his way, and that means things will only get worse for our heroes.
