And to mark their collaboration with a white stone, a new art has been published.

The exorcists change their look

With a widely acclaimed first season, the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise hit hard again at the end of 2021. Gege Akutami’s work returned to center stage with a feature film entitled Jujutsu Kaisen 0. Since its release in Japan , this film continues to break records and its international release was already under scrutiny. It is yet another cinematic feat to be credited to the Mappa studio.

With all the spotlight on them, the franchise is gaining more and more attention and 7-Eleven is seizing the opportunity to collaborate with our favorite Exorcists. This collaboration is part of a campaign that will be launched during this month. The new artwork has a lot of similarities to the images from the first season’s ending theme “Lost Paradise.” Take a look below to get an idea.

The success of the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise

At present, the work of Gege Akutami is among the staples of the manga industry. Jujutsu Kaisen is one of publisher Shueisha’s biggest hits and already has quite a few records to its name. Just with the sales of the manga which amount to more than 65 million examples, that would be enough to make many mangakas green with envy. As for its anime series, it is among the most-watched shows in 2021 and has received several accolades.

This was particularly the case at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2021 with the award for anime of the year. And that was not the only distinction at this event. As if that weren’t enough, the animated film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 came to complete the picture. The film was a hit at the box office and generated huge profits. It also ranks very high in the list of the best animated films of all time, occupying the seventh place.
