The main cast of the next Chainsaw Man the anime adaptation will be revealed on August 5 at 8 p.m. JST during a special live broadcast program, it was revealed. A new trailer will also be released.
In the meantime, the anime’s Twitter account posted a new visual, which depicts the titular character standing on rubble as blood rains down from the sky and splatters his surroundings.
The anime is expected to release this year. Crunchyroll previously announced that it would simulcast the show “later this year.”
The Chainsaw Man manga debuted in 2018 and is written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The first part of the manga took place from 2019 to 2021 in Weekly Shonen Jump. Part 2 began serialization on the Shonen Jump+ app and website earlier this month.
